notes on Diet page MY comments in bold

You wrote a lot of good stuff. I didn't pay much attention to
organization as it seemed okay. See my fussings, below. It was
interesting, the parts I didn't know before...
----------------------------------------------------
You ask the questions

"Sometimes people with cancer will be eating a full complete diet and
still lose weight. This can decrease survival time. What are the causes
of tumor-induced weight loss, and what can be done?

For women whose tumor cells have estrogen receptors, should they have
foods that are high in phytoestrogens? "

I think it would be better if you asked those questions and then
IMMEDIATELY answered them. (rather than rambling on about possible
nutrition problems.)
-----------------------------

The excerpts about Block Center, Wholly Immune and the snippet As it
seems with other aspects of LMS all seem to be excerpts from emails but
the My husband... one isn't marked as an excerpt and it is confusing to
me with the as it seems and As it IS sentence
---------

With Dehydration and Clotting, I would suggest you put something in the
first sentence about why diet relates. It's easy to get lost in all
this verbiage.
---------
Hey, I didn't know that about milk! And 8 glasses being two liters? Are
you sure? I didn't know that either. 2 liters seems like a huge amount.
8 glasses, I'm used to... like a liter bottle of Coke.

When travelling, do not drink (traveling has ONE l)
, get up and walk once an hour to enhance circulation and prevent clots
  (might be clearer)
--------------

Question... Did you tie the definitions into the glossary? Just looked.
No. Can you do that?
--------
In the antioxidant part I find the phrase LMS "owners" rather funny...
--------
I would switch the sentence There are other bioactive substances that
do have to the bottom of the section rather than have it in the middle
--------
Resveratrol, the red berry and red grape substance present in red wine
as well, has several effects on biochemical pathways.
But you don't say it's a positive effect
--------------------

Flaxseed, freshly ground [coffee grinders do it well], 2 Tablespoons a
day, is also useful for its antiinflammatory
As does fish, from fish oils. The antiinflammatory effect might prevent
some cancers, and might also prevent the cancer cachexia syndrome.
Fix antiinflammatory - make it anti-inflammatory
-------------
Furthermore, there exists specific phytoestrogen receptors as well.
How about "Furthermore, specific phytoestogen receptors exist as well."
------------
In Tumor-Induced Weight Loss section
SOME patient will continue to lose weight.
add s to patient

"Treatment of TIWL
Nutritional Approaches"
"The best way to treat cancer cachexia is to cure the cancer.
Unfortunately, this remains a rare achievement among adults with
advanced solid tumors." The obvious option was to increase nutritional
intake by enteral or parenteral means, neither of which was effective.

Why the quotes? Where is this from? Nothing indicating footnote or
source until very end of paragraph. Is that kosher?
---------------------------------
A number of trials of parenteral nutrition were performed in cancer
patients in the 1980s and, in general,
In the 1980's a number of clinical trials

Is the capital I a typo or ?

Which led the
You repeatedly use Which as the first word in sentences. I don't mind
it once in a while, but you really have overdone it. Do a search and
see if you can fix a few?
----------
You talk about PIF but I can't fine its full name? Also - (oh, I found
it. APPR)
---------

A mouse tumor-derived...been identified in the urine of TIWL patients.
erived cytokines to produce a cachectic state.
-----------------
I like the American Chemical Society section and wonder if it shouldn't
be closer to the top as it has the basic info of what people should
eat. It doesn't define complex carbs and I suspect people don't know
the difference between types of carbs at all. But that's just me.
-----------
Why are Copper or Zinc and NSAIDs bracketed? Elsewhere, you have
something lower-cased instead of bolded when you wanted to
differentiate it.
-----
What are MAT and cAMP?
In the article I find "multifocal angiostatic therapy" (in the article
mentioned directly after that paragraph, and further down the page, but
you might either define it or say (see article) -- cAMP doesn't seem to
be explained.

Same deal with IGF-I and Flk-1 - no, I found Flk-1 but further down in
the Pantox Lab thing.
What would be the best way of pointing to all these abbreviations and
their whole word names?

Are we missing a " mark before Some people with cancer ?

Also, there are sentences here in bold. Is the bolding yours? If so,
you should note that.
--------
If stool accumulates inside the colon, at some point it is called an
impaction

This isn't quite clear. The point where it is called an impaction is
the point where it becomes difficult or impossible to move?
When you say "from both ends" people might not understand you meant
adding stool softeners or laxatives? Just quibbling.
-----------
In Dick's recipe can you change
tea-use about

for clarity? Personally I like a space on either side of the -- but
since there is none further down I bowed to the previous usage.
-----------
If you are going to have chemotherapy or head or neck irradiation,
first see your dentist.

The first signs of a problem will probably come from being extra
sensitive to foods that are particularly spicy, sour, or acidic.
In time, actual sores may develop, similar to cold sores, or white
patches, or painful swallowing.

There is a line space between the first and second sentences but not
between the second and third sentences. I suggest you close up the
second and third, leaving the line break to set the first sentence,
which has its own slightly separate meaning, apart.
----------
1. Notify your doctor. Ask... is in bold. Following sentences are not.
Suggest you unbold the first one?
----------------
OK about constipation, but --
I'm not sure the advice on mouth sores belongs in the Diet section.
Except the parts specifically about diet. You could send them to the
mouth sore section elsewhere (chemo?) in the site?
--------
Vitamins, Minerals, and Other Dietary Supplements
I think this may have been intended as a title, but it's stuck with no
punctuation right in the middle of a paragraph
---------------
Do a search on the phrase "bring the bottle" and make sure you haven't
repeated yourself?
-----------------
Also on green-red diet which is in there twice or is it more? And
Resveratrol? I seem to be lost or going in a circle or something.
HELP!!!

Where is the article Finding a Dietician?
Do you usually put written by or Written by?
